Roberts is a power/ speed combo who joined the Reds as a guest player in October 2024 before fully committing to the team in February 2025, playing his first official game with the team in March, 2025. Roberts led in ERA (2.57), WHIP (1.31) Ks (67) and FIP (1.00) on the mound and was first in SBs (32) and QAB% (61.49), and second in SLG (.552), AVG (.414) among active Reds players LAST season. He is currently hitting over .570
